Pets
Does anybody know where I can find a list of pets featured in Nightfall. While playing the preview event, I only saw one flamingo and one warthog.

Most people have guessed that a lion or rat will be charmable due to the images in the following link.

I suspect that a lot of people will settle for a pet called "Impressive Warthog"...

I know what pet my ranger is going to have when Nightfall comes out. Pink birds FTW!
Now if only there was a way to have at least four pets. Like maybe a Guild-pet-storage or something. I really wish I didn't have to get rid of my moa and that I don't have to get rid of my Crane... Why can't I have all 4 birds at once? (Of course only having one with me at a time) |

okay I thought I would contribute past a Hippo on this thread because I am a pet fanatic and have been on the hunt. Here is what I have found so far and believe to be tamable pets (not all have been confirmed):
Flamingo - Island of Istan Elder Crocodile - Dejarin Estate or the Eastern part of Turai's Procession Lion or Lioness - Far East corner of Barbarous Shore Elder Hyena - The middle bridge that runs North to South in Turai's Procession (there is only one there, this would be tricky to cap) Please post locations of the Hippos and I also have heard there is a Panda... On a side note: Hippos IRL are one of the only animals known to kill for pleasure. muhahaha. |

The Jahai Rat can be tamed, but a little differently than other animals. Order your henchmen to stay away or the rat will get killed. You have to attack it once before it can be charmed.

Wolves also kill for pleasure, as well as kill B to hurt the emotions and power of A - intentional murder. Many animals kill and war. Humans are the only animal that can kill, war, and murder and then afterwards -stop- and learn peace. |

The only panda in GW is part of the Red Frog quest in Factions (Ranger quest). It is not charmable.

Re the Pets
Dont have my map here and will update this from home, but after the passage there are lionesses, easily tamed and just north of the next town are lions.
I noticed one lion get charmed by foe, but another was roaming, I set henchies on to foe, to keep them busy and the lion was easily charmed. Keep going north through a portal and the rat is there. I just set the henchies on to the foe all around the two rats there, and ran over and charmed one. The rats only level three, might have to kill it off , we will see. GL, Ill try and put better locations in later |
